Dear Listers,
It's November 30th and that always means a couple of things. Its my birthday again
- 51, so don't reminde me! :-) But it also means that it's that last official
day of the Matronics Email List Fund Raiser! If you been thinking about
picking up one of those really nice incentive gifts now is the time to jump
on it!!
If you've been meaning to make a Contribution this month but have been putting
it off for some reason, NOW is the time!
I will be posting the List of Contributors in a few days, so you'll probably want
to be known as a person that supported the Lists!

Hey Ron, thanks for posting this - highly relevant to a (future) interest I have
in investigating reducing stall speed with more flaps whilst using VG's or similar
to maintain aileron control at low speeds. regards, Clive

Has anyone had experience with this flap control mechanism?
While I am regaining neck movement this device might assist me in making flap settings
easier and more accurate. I am not yet familiar with the standard flap
DC motor and foreword/back up/down switch but I guess it works in an identical
way as my Alpi300. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Ron,
The Europa is not a STOL aircraft but our experiments on VGs to improve
stall speed and low speed or short field operations is on my website.
www.customflightcreations.com in the techniques section with many others.
Both the how to and the flight tests pilot report are there.
