Thanks Bud
I tried to send some photo=99s with my first email but they just sat
in my out box. See if this works.
I didn't get around to thank you for the fuel cap which you organised some
time ago[Thank you] I'm not the best on a computer so tend to put if off.
Had a quick look at your website regarding the trimming and as soon as I ge
t a chance I will get back out to the airport. Between work and bad weathe
r and Christmas coming up [going away] it maybe after Christmas.
Regards Mark

n that It flew lovely. First flight was on the 10/12/14 but we have had ba
d weather since and work tends to get in the way so haven=99t been up
since. Looking forward to the next flight.

Mark

Richard, I am assuming that the other offer you had was superior and
that you don't need me to put together my ageing bits of foam for you.
Happy Christmas, David

has given me some good advice but I need to make a male former to mould a repair
piece on and I think blue foam will be the best option as I can dissolve it
from inside the sleeve after I have made it.

Subject: | conventional gear vs. tri-gear retrofit |
Want to change my new-to-me XS Monowheel to either a conventional or a tri-gear
version, and understand there are a few options/ideas out there.... Tri-gear
makes lots of safety sense, but taildragger looks promising as well. I would
appreciate any and all advice on which way is better/easier/most reliable etc...
There appears to be more than one way to do the conventional gear with a
single-piece metal or carbon-fiber leg, but that failures have occurred. Anyone
out there who could enlighten me on this? Appreciate any feedback!
I'm in Canada on the West Coast. Thanks, Howard
