My friend and Europa builder Denis Mangeot designed and provided a filtering circuitry which, after many hours of testing and modifying, finally solved the problem. Attached is a picture of the final version of this filter. I do not have a circuit diagram and component list available right now but I could work at it if anyone is interested. Many thanks! I too did it this way to provide easy charging of the battery when needed. I have tried different USB power adapters but all give bad static in the headset. When I was on the quest of finding a good USB power out-put, I was more looking towards a hard wiered output instead of just a plug into a 12v socket version. Jacques, Yes you are correct the ATR833 is very sensitive but a quality product, and I have no regrets in fitting it. I would be intrested in which version of the TomTom you used. I Will PM you for your contact details. -------- Richard Wheelwright G-IRPW First Flight 24th July 2013 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=438118#438118 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message europa-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Europa-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/europa-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/europa-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
