It seems I need to depart from and return to a Customs and Excise designated airport from the Channel Islands but all the ones marked on the Border controls table seem potentially to charge the earth and are not interested in GA like Bournemouths 50 landing/handling fee. Oxford would seem to be possible (20 or 12) but isn't actually on the list. Anyone flow there recently and found an economical solution? I am Bedfordshire based. -------- Graeme Bird G-UMPY Mono Classic/XS 912S/Woodcomp 3000/3W Newby: 135 hours 32 months on the Mono g(at)gdbmk.co.uk Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=438160#438160 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 10:13:13 AM PST US From: Dpy01 Subject: Re: Europa-List: UK to Channel Isles, UK customs and border controls Not sure where you fly from but most small GA Airfields have agreements with the Local Border Control and you can use the GA Declaration form on the AOPA UK Website. I fly from Brimpton and follow that procedure. Alan Sent from my iPad > On 7 Feb 2015, at 17:38, graeme bird wrote: > > > Drear day so I started planning some trips. The Channel Isles are are outside Europe for C & E purposes. The list in the guidance is out of touch though and includes, Filton, Manston, Blackpool. -------- Graeme Bird G-UMPY Mono Classic/XS 912S/Woodcomp 3000/3W Newby: 150 hours 36 months on the Mono g(at)gdbmk.co.uk Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=438162#438162 ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 12:14:11 PM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: UK to Channel Isles, UK customs and border controls From: "graeme bird" Actually, you could be right... if the Channel Islands are specifically included in Brimpton's Certificate of Agreement. I which case I could drop by Brimpton. -------- Graeme Bird G-UMPY Mono Classic/XS 912S/Woodcomp 3000/3W Newby: 150 hours 36 months on the Mono g(at)gdbmk.co.uk Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=438163#438163 ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 12:22:19 PM PST US Subject: Re: Europa-List: Re: UK to Channel Isles, UK customs and border controls From: Alan Burrill I dont have the certificate to hand but I used to fly out of Wycombe and Old Sarum to Ci with no problems.
