Jan, That is Gates 27304 Barricade hose that meets just about every requirement you could think of. Manufactured to meet the California emission regulations for low permeability hose. It is very hard to get in the UK and is expensive. Amazon UK are selling a 24 inch length of 5/16 inch ( 8mm) for UK 6.28 plus postage. The supplier is Hires Auto Parts International who will sell a 25 feet roll. Probably the best you can get. Brian, yes. The only slight downside (apart from the price) is the acceptable but not great kink resistance for the larger diameters. Hi John, My aircraft is 15 years/1235 hours old, so I had to replace all fuel hoses twice. I have always used Gates 3225 hose and I always found the 5 years old hoses to be in very good shape, inside and out. Of course I am using Mogas (unleaded 98). These hoses are inexpensive and can be purchased over the counter at any AD (Auto Distribution) store. I am sure there is one not far from your home. For technical details see: http://ww2.gates.com/france/brochure.cfmbrochure=7803&location_id=11152 Best regards Remi Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=445296#445296
