Hi! Frank,
On a lighter note one of the more re-assuring things is to consider this
item as "bonding material" rather than "GLUE" !

Just keep in mind " When your at the start of the runway, about to power up,
do you want that little niggle in the back of your mind saying should I
have..........."
Just one of the things I keep in mind every time I go into my workshop. Just
my thoughts

Hi Guys,
Can anyone confirm the trading state of Arplast.
If they really are no longer trading and no one else takes over then all us Arplast
propeller users are on our own!
I believe we can

ie unsolder the two wire, and with a pair of grips turn and unscrew the motor
off the end of the Shaft.

Subject: | Re: Arblast PV 50 Prop. CS Motor, |
Hi Guys,
Can anyone confirm the trading status of Arplast?
If they are not now trading then all of us that use the PV50 are without support.
We can service the hub easily enough as the bearings are standard and available.
The drive motor should be obtainable. If anyone has found a source I would like
to obtain a spare or two?
The main problem could be blade replacement or refurbishment unless some new firm
takes over from Arplast.
What thoughts do other PV50 users have?
Perhaps we can pool our knowledge and write up a decent user manual?
Cheers Ken G-CEKV

Gents,
If Arblast is truly defunct, a possible source of blades may be Light
Aviathey have an office in Finland near Raimo Toiivio, a Europa
builder who some of you may know.
Light Avia=99s repa guy named SlavaLight
Avia=99s production facility is in UkraineI have a very
nice GA prop from them w/ beautiful CF bladesthey produce and
sell a wide variety of light sport props, and may be able to produce a
shank which is compatible w/ the Arblast hub.
Here is their website: http://www.gaprop.eu/ <http://www.gaprop.eu/>
My prop is a bit more robust for my 140 hp engine (and rotates the
=9Cwrong=9D way), but I know the have some outstanding
blades for a Rotax.
I=99m not clear as to whether or not the current turmoil in
Ukraine has affected their production.
just a thoughtgood luck,
Fred
