No intention of doing it in the foreseeable future; I was just looking ahead a
good number of years into retirement and wondered about banking the bits in case
at some point I wanted to 'share' the plane and reduce costs. Not sure they
will be available for ever. Thinking about it (once again round the loop) though,
I have concluded the mono, as is, is just so ideal for my short and oft muddy
strip and my type of flying and the cost of conversion is high what with
the kit plus electric flaps, baggage bay extension, fuel filler move, speed kit,
mod inspection, submission etc and then its heavier, slower, less good on rough
and mud with a danger of shimmy on hard. At some point latter I'd probably
do better to take the hit and sell and then buy a tri-gear or buy a share in
something.
