I am sorry to hear of Rogers passing. I first met Roger at the Long Mynd, the Midlands
gliding club. I made a pair of foam neoprene socks for him for winter
flying. That would be about 1973. Our paths crossed several times after that
until eventually Europa gave us a regular connection.
We often swapped old stories and I will remember Roger with great affection, thinking
of him will put a quiet smile in my thoughts.

We are very saddened to learn of Roger's passing. We met him on a trip to
the UK in 2007 when he and John were running the show and I particularly
remember the camaraderie and hearty laughs we shared that day. As a result,
both Janice and I thoroughly enjoyed what has turned out to be our one and
only visit to Europa.
Anybody reading this who is able to do so is requested to pass on Kingsley
and Janice Hurst's condolences and thoughts to his family please.
Sincerely
Kingsley and Janice Hurst

Subject: | Fuselage luggage bay "D" panel |
I have left this to last so that I can get at everything meantime.
Has anyone left a bigger opening that the "D" cut out?
I ask becasue I am concerned about getting at fuel pumps , pitch autopilot
servo and electrical stuff in the rear fuselage
I thought maybe to cut the bulkhead along the angle, make matching flanges
on floor sides and roof from bid and then bolt the whole thing together.
Or is it better just to find a small assistant....
thanks
Will
