Rowland,
I went to the trouble to remove the coolant bottle, welded an aluminum
plate to it to make it thick enough so I could cut a thread in it to mount
the sensor in the bottle.
Although I haven't had any issues with this Bud is correct, the bottom line
is the head temperature.
As to Evans coolant, I never could make it work and I went back to the
original coolant.

Roger, many thanks, I had no idea such a gadget existed! But then we are a bit
third world here. Will look online but if you have any leads for a suitable
one, I would much appreciate it.
