My solution shown in the attached pic - a piece of original mono classic fuel filler hose bolted through to the top of the sling arm and wrapped in peel ply to stop the black rubber marking the fuselage. Once loaded, it touches the fuselage side in the vicinity of the forward lift pin mounting area. The blue foam blocks under the slings are to counter my paranoia about them breaking in transit - which could do all sorts of expensive damage to the wing pin sockets glued into the wing . . . A long search on this forum did not yield an answer to what length I will need to order. Can anyone please tell me? While trying to figure out what exactly I will need to order, I noticed that the LAS Aerospace site (see: https://www.lasaero.com/site/products/article?id-1J6VQML) mentions "Standard Type" and "Strong Type". Which of these types does the Europa Trigear ask for? I already found out that I will be needing the 12mm diameter one. If anyone has any tips/suggestions on how to most conveniently put a new bungee on a flying aircraft, please chime in ;) (my first phone call will be to Europa to find out if they have it on stock and order with them. My questions around required length an 'type' are "Plan B", in case Europe cannot supply immediately. Either case, tips/suggestions to have a convenient install are appreciated) -------- Marcel Zwakenberg XS TG || 912ULS || PH-SBR Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=457045#457045 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 04:56:19 AM PST US From: Kevin Challis Subject: Re: Europa-List: Bungee nosewheel broke - need to order new I updated to the springs. For now I will just be replacing the bungee. -------- Marcel Zwakenberg XS TG || 912ULS || PH-SBR Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=457048#457048 ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 08:42:25 AM PST US Subject: Re: Europa-List: Wings for monowheel trailer stability From: Raimo Toivio Hello William, this simple solution has worked for me nicely years.
