I am well within limits with free play in the elevators measuring approx 0.2 inches which I anticipate was always there. Its a pig of a job cleaning and reapplying the Loctite so any thoughts on this subject? -------- Give a wise man knowledge and he will be yet wiser Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=458109#458109 ________________________________ Message 11 ____________________________________ Time: 06:11:03 AM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: Torque Tube enhancement after 400 hours From: "Scudrunner" I'm also interested in views on this topic as I had to redo mine at my most recent annual. I felt this was the best solution to the problem. This mod has just been incorporated into another europa I'm helping build. See attached link to the mod. http://www.theeuropaclub.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/11969-TTpins.pdf Hope this information is useful? It has been flying in my aircraft for the last 2 years and no problems with it so far.
