Hi Paul, Go to the LAA website and look up the Standard Mods for the Europa. You will see that there is a standard mod for the Welan strobes and the fuel contents system. Your installation may be different but it gives you a starting point. The Europa Club website also has mod information and there is a list of Factory mods on the Europa website. The LAA inspector is checking that you have built the aircraft in accordance with the build manual. He cannot approve variations (Mods) to the approved build specification. Not much help to you now but it saves delay at the end of the build if you get mod approval for design changes as you go along, rather than waiting until submission of the final paperwork. Having recently completed my Europa (NG) to my inspectors satisfaction I find the LAA having issues with some of my work ??? which may have to be considered as 'mods'? These are....1) the installation of the 'europa supplied' fuel guage & sender 2) the installation of wingtip lights (Whelan nav/strobe) 3) the installation of Dynon Efis/AOA pitot to act as stall warner 4) the use of 'Colorol' paint applied with a roller as per the article published by the LAA If anyone has a 'G' reg Europa with any of these 'mods' flying I would be grateful for any details to pass on to the LAA & get my 'permit !!!??? Thanks for your help once again. Paul Munford kit 625 No virus found in this message. It has a clutch to decouple the engine from the propeller. On the downside is certainly the mass of 40 kg including batteries (so might only be interesting for those with the 1450 lbs MTOM) and the costs of 18700 EUR. But worth following the progress from my point of view.
