Hi Otis, I have one here in Australia. Let me see what I have on file, but remember Bobs premise was that the gear be co-incidentally located with where the mono was, so the moment arm of the tail plane was the same etc. the weight too will not be much different, so in many respects it was a fairly masterful way of modifying a standard mono, in my humble opinion. Just don't enter the country at Buochs - expensive, rude and inflexible. Unfortunate as l used to live next to the airfield and work at Pilatus Aircraft in the same valley. I recommend Grenchen, a CHF25 customs, landing fee and some nice people. -------- John Wighton Europa XS trigear G-IPOD Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=465888#465888 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 06:35:20 AM PST US From: Richard Iddon Subject: Re: Europa-List: AW: Re: Trips 2017 UK/Europe I also had a bad experience at Buochs. Used their on line service to book in but did not get the requisite acknowledgement and when I arrived and called them from about 10 miles away they refused to let me land at first. Told me that I had to go back to France. I hadnt enough fuel for that so after some argument they eventually let me in but as John says, very expensive and inflexible. The ground crew were. if fact quite accommodating once I had landed. One guy even ran me into town but I would not go there again. They are fairly complete and well done, but I don't know if they are available for people who do not buy kits, or if they are even in stock. Bob B retired close to 10 years ago and his partner in Flight Crafters, Russell, has also retired. Bud Yerly at CustomFlightCreations is probably your best bet regarding the tailwheel conversion. -------- Ira N224XS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=465892#465892 ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 07:58:25 AM PST US From: PITT STEVEN Subject: Re: Europa-List: Instrument module How quickly do you want the instrument module. Perhaps we could meet at M4/A34 services as it seems equidistant for both of us. The plywood is about 6 inches square and the bolts are AN4-15A.
