Phil, >From memory the port door recess is the reference plane so no dismantling required. See Chapter 27 Step 1 of the builders manual. My inspector wants to check the angle of incidence of the wings but as the plane is painted and internally completed I have no reference plane to check the angle of incidence against. Don't really want to remove the upholstery or paint (but will do as a last resort) and therefore any suggestions on how to check the angle of incidence would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -------- Phil B Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=468309#468309 --- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. http://www.avg.com

I too have the high top. The only place that will work is the top of the fuel tank between the two head rest. You will need the Template or make it. Then read and Chapter 27. I wonder if the kind soul with the "amazing database with lots of details on the parts (including where they are referenced in each of the manuals)" would be prepared to share it with me? I have a couple of items I can't trace despite a word search of the PDF manuals, this might help. Many thanks in advance, Paul M 383 XS Mono 912S -----Original Message----- From: owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of n7188u Sent: 11 April 2017 21:08 Subject: Europa-List: Re: New Europa Builder Thanks to all for the replies and good wishes. I got an extensive scanned BOM and an amazing database with lots of details on the parts (including where they are referenced in each of the manuals) from two forum members. Thanks to all that offered and I'll let you know if I need more info. Jim and Heather, I appreciate the generous offer. I checked the Blackwater airport and its grass. The reason I am getting the Europa is because the LongEZ is not a friend of grass fields! I will check, maybe there is a hard surface airport close by and I can then get a ride to Blackwater. Will let you know. Regards, Chris Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=468313#468313

Likewise, it would be a great resource either posted on this forum and/or on the Europa Club website. Phil, How about getting a couple of builders without Hi-Top to check how closely their flat areas between the headrests compare with their left door sills for an alternative reference? I have thin upholstery glued on mine, so the result should be much the same as measuring on the bare surface.
