Softens them up quite nicely (shake off any water before fitting). The project was started in about 1999. The kit came with two rather large boxes of what I now know are thermoplastic polymer microspheres which Europa use in their finishing process. I've tried to find on the Web what the shelf-life (if any) these micorspheres have. Does anyone in this forum have experience with these fillers? Can I still use them reliably after 18 or so years? I plan to do some testing closer to when I need them but information about them would be helpful. Any advice would be appreciated. I disassembled it and found that the cup seal has deteriorated and the master cylinder is full of black sticky crud. I can clean the components but the seals will require replacement. Are these still available? The master cylinder is labeled "Kart Components". Thanks for the help, Chris Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=468733#468733 ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 08:08:58 AM PST US From: Alan Twigg Subject: Re: Europa-List: Shelf-life of Europa's thermoplastic polymer microspheres Mine were purchase 14 years ago and i am still using them.
