There are about 3 weeks left before this appeal closes, when JustGiving will pay in your donations less a small percentage directly to The Europa Club bank account. Even if only a little more comes in, Carole should receive at least 3000 after charges. If you use the JustGiving link below, you'll be able to see that as I write this the total stands at 105% of our initial target. Good to know that their system allows for a continuation. We can't thank you enough! https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/NevilleEyre Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=469682#469682 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 01:47:32 AM PST US From: Glenn Perry Subject: Europa-List: Re: Europa-List Digest: 5 Msgs - 05/28/17 Hello Matt, I have run the motor by itself and it appears to run fine. However, when turning the screw jack with a screw driver, I can feel it binding. I have also found what looks like a sliver of brass which I think is part of the screws jack thread. The threads on the screws jack don=99t look right either. As I mentioned in my post, there must surely be Europa guys out there who have replaced their Arplast props with something else! Please, if you have parts from your Arplast, please contact me. We all consider Nev to have been a key part of the development of the Europa, a great friend and unstinting supporter of the Europa community for many years and a great guy. The AAIB continue their investigation into the loss of power and loss of control during takeoff, resulting in vertical high speed dive into the ground. Have today spent time with his widow Sylvia and family. All our thoughts are clearly with them at this difficult time. The late Bryan Allsop requested that I be an executor of his estate. I will respect Bryan's final need and continue to offer support to Sylvia both in this role and as friend.
