would be great to meet you there again :-)
Don't worry about the water - the engine doesn't know that (at least that's the
well known saying). OTOH the engine doesn't care where it quits - that's the
scary thing.
So I would take the longer route, but that's just me - and I'm a Sissy :-)
Anyway it would be fun - and there's a hangar party as well :-)

I'm thinking I may come over on the Friday afternoon and clear immigration in the
Netherlands first to break-up the flight. I'd be camping this time.
I've also found a slightly different route that keeps me over land for more of
the flight.

I am battling with the Colombian Civil Aviation authorities to give me a
Mode S hex code for my Dynon ADSB. Despite the 2020 deadline they feel my
Europa doesnt need one.
My question is "Is Mode S Hex code the same hex code as you put into a ELT?"
