30-40C does seem incredibly low; so low that Id suspect a dodgy reading. Have you
checked the accuracy of the gauge/sender?

Tim,
On inspecting the XS refuelling fuel pipe on G-CBHI today it was foun
d US. Therefore, please add me to the list if it is suitable for the XS? C
learly the XS is a much shorter pipe than that required for the Classic. Th
e current LAA Standard Mod does not cover the XS aircraft but Brian has ind
icated your pipe will suitable for both and will be the basis of the new XS
LAA Standard Mod. From your previous work on this mod do you know if the s
ame specification of pipe has been used anywhere else on the Europa? Did yo
u find any positive way of flushing out any debris from the tank? I have no
t tried yet.
