The alternate static source when switched with this type of (2 way switch) will
supplement the original static source - not replace it.
A 3-way switch which selects from either Source A or Source B seems to be a requirement
for some aircraft (l know this may not be applicable to the LAA).
Looking at the nice diagrams in FAA AMT Vol2 Figure 10-25 shows a 3-way switch.
See attachment.
Is a 2-way switch acceptable?

Hello
I am interested in
"Original rear tail wheel assembly including tyre and tube, never fitted"
because I have still the classic tail wheel and I am interested
to convert to XS version. Please offer with a part list.
Best regards

Hi Ruedi
I have all of the XS tail wheel assembly parts, unused and never fitted.
I converted to tri-gear during the build.
This includes the tyre, tube, tailwheel arm, mounting bits, springs, etc. and I
also have the speed kit fairing.
If you are interested I will put together a parts list of the items I have.
Send me a PM or use the email below.

ploucandco, I have searched through my records, and I think this is where I sourced
the adapter:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6mm-Pipe-Connector-Pneumatic-Straight-Push-In-Male-Stud-BSPT-Fittings-Air-Water-/201861291163
The desription on my Invoice is;
6mm Pipe Connector Pneumatic Starigh push in male
Stud BSPT Fitting air water
Size: 1/8"
John, I have attached the diagram I submitted to the LAA for approval of my Static/Pitot/AOA
plumbing. The alternate static is cabin air from behind the Control
Panel, to be used if the original source (under wing static) becomes blocked.
