Hi Guys I have bought an iLevil 3SW and would appreciate advice where to fit it avoiding or minimising magnetic effects.. It could go on or under the parcel shelf on my 914 trigear or in the roofspace between the doors, I am just not sure hence the plea for advice. We have just completed the LAA mod for the replacement rubber at the lower end of the polypropylene filler using the specified bent aluminium tube and the fluorsilicate connecting pieces It was a simple process, however the original rubber elbow was found to be in perfect condition with no signs of deterioration whatsover. Another 85 wasted but well worth the inspection. -------- Give a wise man knowledge and he will be yet wiser Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=478666#478666

PS: i'm investigating a UK low-volume manufacturing source and subsequent sale of replacement elements using 316 Stainless in the hope that they will a) be less prone to blockage than the nylon Sytec elements, b) will be re-useable after cleaning and c) would be less susceptible to ethanol degradation. All constructive comments and interest, welcome. -------- Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. Those who understand it, earn it, those who don't, pay it. Hi Bill, I've put mine behind the RH panel on top of the tunnel and on top of a foam/GF fabricated 'wedge' to bring it level in flight. Actually there is an article in with Tony Wickens that i expect will be published in the EF. Despite 'seeing' the UC frame, it seems to work fine so far. I've tried to attach a pic to this message that illustrates . . . Clive -------- Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. Those who understand it, earn it, those who don't, pay it. From: "h&jeuropa" <butcher43@att.net>
Petit Jean State Park is very popular, and lodging is at a premium. Although we were told the Mather Lodge wouldnt be too busy for our weekend, it is already completely booked! There may still be campsites in the park, and there is camping at the airport. We have found the Cedar Falls Motel, which has availability, but they are filling up quickly. Another group that has stayed with them many times has also chosen this weekend (arrive Friday, May 18 & depart Sunday, May 20). The motel is near the airport and park. We will rent a van to transport our group. It is a 1950s era motel, but the rooms are clean and many have been refurbished. There is a pool area with fire ring and shelter. The telephone number is 501-727-5636, Shirley Williams is the manager. Check out the photos and reviews on the link https://www.facebook.com/CedarFallsMotel/ There are three types of rooms: Single - one bed / up to 2 people for $61 Double - two beds / up to 4 people for $68 Family - two beds plus a set of bunkbeds / up to 6 people for $76 Please make your reservation right away! They need a credit card number to reserve the room, but will not charge your account until you arrive. If your plans change, they would like at least 2 days notice to cancel. More details to follow, we just wanted to get everyone settled on accommodations. Thanks, Jim & Heather Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=478673#478673
