Karl. The brake and parts for the trigear were on my website. I see there was a link problem so I'll fix that this morning. The only problem with a stuck caliper is corrosion. I pull the caliper and soak the caliper with PB Blaster and then pull back on the brake handle to pop out the puck or use air and recondition them. Why recondition? The new caliper may not slip right on your original Europa wheel brake moun t. That is frustrating. They kept a record of what was suppl ied to Europa. The brake assembly is WHLB5 and costs $ 98. It is a differen t shape but is supposed to fit. Karl

We=92ve been quite busy. My apologies, as I found a problem with the links on my website. I am thankful I am no longer spending more time on the computer and less at the gym and at my shop. I have finally been granted a Class III medical. So I can fly again thanks mainly to Ira Rampil and his invaluable assistance. Our summer travel plans were ruined by funerals. Sad, but we are getting o lder. Luckily births are keeping pace with deaths in our family. We are at the last minute looking at going to Oshkosh now that our summer s chedule is less hectic. Hope to see some of you there. I have a CFI for the Trigear checked out here in Tampa now. Dave Presnell. I have a CFIG for the motor glider checked out here in Tampa also. Rand Vo llmer. I=92m Checking out a potential new owner in the Motor Glider this week. In the shop: I have a couple of old, not so good mono trailers in for repair and mating to aircraft. I=92m adding winches, making ramps to clear the flap hinges , hinging the spar holders, adding wheel spacers to allow the aircraft to s et firmly in the cradle without leaning, repairing lights, adding jacks, et c. I=92ll make a silk purse out of a sows ear of these. I still field builder questions from the community but please use my cell: 813 244-8354. It is a world wide calling number, and we can do facetime i f you need to show me a live problem although still photos are best as Anit a is on the iPad daily and I=92d rather be out and about. I have 952JL in for a quick annual and prep for sale. Brown has his plane ready for the interior. I will push him to get out the door. 12AY received some bad hangar rash on the leading edge of the left wing whi le we were gone. Oh well, a weeks work. Whether I finish 12AY in time to fly Anita and I to Osh is in doubt, so we may have to drive and will spend time at the Airmaster Booth. (My mother lives 3 hours away so we will spe nd time with her also.) I=92m happy to still provide assistance to all our Europa builders/owners a s we can, but I no longer work with Europa (2004) on updates, factory suppo rt or factory queries. The factory will do that with someone. Best Regards, Bud Yerly Custom Flight Creations, Inc. Sent from Mail<https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=550986> for Window s 10

Bud, I think I fixed it today. There was some damage to the exposed part of the piston, and the edge of the cylinder. No idea how or. when that happened.I popped the piston using a grease gun with adapter, then repaired and lubric ated the o-ring and put it back together. Then spent the next 3 hours tryin g to bleed that side again, on my own, finally success. With parking brake on I could not turn the jacked up wheel. It seems that even the tiniest amo unt of air spells total failure.
