2017. I have no idea who the manufacturer was. I have just tried the Vista Vent as some of you have, and am concerned. Th ey are large and if pulled down will stress the plexi vent and I=92m afraid it will eventually fail. It is hot here in Florida and I am stuck. Snap vents are cheap, Vista has me worried, and it looks like quick ventilation fixes for guys that come in dying in the heat are over. A word about placement. I installed mine just below the windscreen quarter and I recommend installing them in the windscreen quarter. I have flown b oth installations and the performance of the windscreen quarter units is fa r superior. The windscreen installed vents allow air to directly vent to the face, whil e installing them just below the windscreen is less direct. The difference is significant. Hold your mouth correctly and use a sharp hole saw. Ask Bud.
