I put in a trutrak ADI pitch and roll slaved to my area 500 and am very pleased
with it. Needed a step up in the roll servo from the baseline.

I fitted a trio with both roll and pitch. All works well, but if I did it again
I probably wouldn't install the pitch servo. It a lot more work to install (pitch
tube needs to come out) and I dont use it that much.

Subject: Europa-List: Wing leveller
Hello all
Can anyone advise on the current market/tech in wing levellers for Permit Europa's
in UK. My instruments are mainly "steam type" and I do not want to change
them all. I may add a pitch controller in the future.
I have found Trio, Trutrac, Dynon and Garmin. Don't need a big bright display duplicating
what I can already see and hoping not to spend a fortune. Are the older
Navaid units reliable?
Thanks

Subject: | Stall warner issue |
I have had an issue recently with my stall warner. It came on intermittently in
flight, at 100 knots +, and when changing altitude. Cause: partially blocked
tube, (probably by an insect?). Then a few days later the airfield reported strange
noise (stall warner sounder...) coming from my aircraft, while parked one
evening. Same issue, port blocked again, and change in pressure on the other
port on the switch (in this case I think a rise in ambient air pressure) triggered
the pressure switch. Both cleared by blowing through with an portable tyre
inflator.
I now have a simple stall warner port cover - a luggage strap that goes round the
wing and covers the stall warner hole on the leading edge.
