Subject: | Coming Soon - The List of Contributors - Please Make A Contribution |
Today!
Each year at the end of the List Fund Raiser, I post a message acknowledging everyone
that so generously made a Contribution to support the Lists. Its my way
of publicly thanking everyone that took a minute to show their appreciation
for the Lists. Please take a moment and assure that your name is on that List
of Contributors (LOC)! As a number of members have pointed out over the years,
the List seems at least as valuable a building / entertainment tool as your
typical magazine subscription!
Assure that your name is on this year's LOC! Show others that you appreciate the
Lists. Making a Contribution to support the Lists is fast and easy using your
Credit card or Paypal on the Secure Web Site:
http://www.matronics.com/contribution
or by dropping a personal check in the mail to:

I would like to thank everyone that has so generously made a Contribution thus
far in this year's List Fund Raiser! Remember that its YOUR support that keeps
these Lists going and improving! Don't forget to include a little comment about
how the Lists have
helped you!
Best regards,

1mm SS is a bit overkill but is adequate to replace the FRP composite. If you
do get some phenolic scraps you will need to use an FRP resin system (try a vinylester
with an FRP rating) to bond them together.
I used these grommets to take the avionics bundle into the FWF zone:

Good luck.

Marcel, I have some firewall material and would happily post some to
you. I would make tight fit plugs and judge force them in, sealing
around the join with the black or brown high temp silicone sealant which
plumbers merchants sell for sealing round boiler flues. Larger plugs I
might be tempted to fix with a few loops (effectively stitches) of
stainless wire going through 1 mm or less holes. Very small holes I
would simply fill with the sealant.

I have read some posts where people where having issues with bonding to
the firewall, hence this question.

Thanks John for the information. You're probably right that 1mm SS is overkill.
Your suggestion of the plastic grommet will be taken into consideration as I have
not yet decided on that part.

Subject: | Tyre suggestions: Tri Gear |
My original 14 year old tyres are finally ready for replacement. Does anyone have
a suggestion for lightweight, durable and ideally cost effective 5.00x5s?
