Duane, take look at: http://www.seatfoam.com I bought their foam after talking with them at KOSK. My wife sewed a set on covers and I have used them for the last two hundreds. I bought three layers for each bottom and two layers for the back. I made one hard layer for kids to raise them up, but I use it on long flights. There was a good set of pictures on the old Europa web site, but I can't find them now. I'd use two layers of hard then one on medium for bottom ans one hard and one medium for back. The bottom area needs a support for your back and that needs to be made for your back/butt. It was about a quarter of what the Oregon seat were going to cost. To answer your question, sorry no but I've never heard of such tyres. Which of course doesn't mean that they don't exist. During the almost 700 hours and 15 years which I flew my Europa as a mono-wheel in Scotland, I managed to scare myself on slippery surfaces including ice, hard-packed snow, "greasy" grass runways and aquaplaning on flooded runways. Each time was pretty scary and I'm not at all confident that winter tyres would have helped, particularly on ice and hard-packed snow. Landing the mono-wheel Europa is challenging enough and I wouldn't recommend that anyone should make it even more so. But then I guess that there are some hardy souls who would laugh at my trepidation. Probably it would be okay, maybe even less challenging, to land directly into wind on fresh non-packed snow.
