there anywhere in the world where they would still be useful?
Graeme, I found ebay uk to be very useful in selling the old avionics from my aircraft.
I originally priced them slightly above what I thought they were worth,
and if they didn't sell after 10 days, reduced the prices a bit at a time,
until they found their market value. It can take some time to sell the bits, but
a good way to get a fair price if you're in no rush. There is no charge unless
the items sell. If I remember correctly, radio went to USA, and Transponder
to Australia !

Hi Phil,

:-) They are simple and fit their intended purpose.
I may finally have found a workshop within walking distance from home. I
will contact you directly regarding those wings.

the major pitfall to this sort of improvement is distraction from the
goal of getting that puppy up in the air in a reasonable length of
timethis coming from one who=99s proved to be a terrible
manager of the degree of novelty and consequently has prolonged the
building process way beyond reason.
not intended to sound so harsh, but consider your goals carefully
and your age:-))
In this instance, i satisfied my deviant nature by substituting threaded
nylon machine screws for SS just to save weight and then used standard
nut platesI don=99t expect to be opening the access
panels very often.
