You can see this on the attached picture of one I did earlier. >From this you can see that it is only realistically possible to do this during the build. From the phrasing of you post, Im assuming that your top fuselage has already been bonded to the canoe (bottom moulding) in which case your options are limited. Hope that helps Nigel (Club Mods Specialist) Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=487893#487893 Attachments: http://forums.matronics.com//files/img_0092_553.jpg ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 01:35:20 AM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: XS Hi-Top conversion Mod 64/64B From: "Corinthian" Thank you Nigel for your explanation. Might be of interest to the group as well but we replaced the mechanical fuel pump with the newer rotax one, Ive seen people saying theres been issues with them not fitting, ours was close but it does fit without touching ! Unfortunately the process of purging the oil cooler matrix will take longer since a considerable amount of oil/air will need to pass through the small orifice. > Yes the coolant will need purging but it relies on you starting the engine and allowing it to cool a few times and topping up the reservoir to level ( assuming that the cap seals are undamaged and appropriate poundage.) > I just used my small aircraft tyre inflater to pressure the top of the oil tank to push the air out of the oil cooler but it surprised me how long the process took to get the air to gurgle through back to the tank whilst turning the prop. .... and that was after motoring (ignitions OFF ) with an ignition plug removed from each cylinder on the starter . But there was no doubt the air was removed by one hell of a gurgle !!!! > > Best wishes > Bob Harrison G-PTAG > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Eoin Maguire > Sent: 28 February 2019 06:59 > To: europa-list@matronics.com > Subject: Europa-List: Purging oil system / Coolant > > > Hi all > > Just after completing the 5 year hose replacement on our Europa and Im just wondering does anyone have answers for the following : > > 1.
