Im looking for the hardware needed to install these blades on my hub. That is basically the blade retention hardware and the pitch changing hardware. If anyone has replaced the blades with a new setup and is interested on selling these parts, please contact me at fasilpereira(at)yahoo(dot)com Thank you, Fabricio -------- Fabricio Pereira Engineer / Pilot Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=491387#491387 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:12:30 AM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: CSC-1P propeller controller From: "spcialeffects" Still looking for a mark burton controller if anyone has one. Apparently there are 2 types and I need the CSC-1/G which has a D sub connector and a 4 pin molex connector. Many thanks Frank Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=491388#491388 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 08:40:13 AM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: throttle pivot sifffnut won't stay in place From: "n7188u" Daniel, I like your approach to the quadrant modification (although not sure how you are handling mud getting in there). I finished making my throttle quadrant just to realize that it may not fit in the spline on top of the wheel tunnel. It may be too wide (not confirmed yet but almost sure it will be so just because lately I had to do everything twice :) ). It seems a lot of things at this stage of the build where designed line-to-line with no clearances considered! Anyway, chopping one side wall of the housing to make it narrower is being considered but I would probably close it off with a couple of layers of bid to seal it from the elements. Did anyone experience this problem? I did remember you had a trigear but after I placed the post. Tri does have advantages. When I got the kit the throttle housing was homemade (there was a plug with it). Nicely made I have to say. But I wonder how wide the molded version in the kit is? Well, the answer is easy: so it fits in the spline! I tried to find a width in the classic manual since they do tell you to make it but lo and behold no width! I have not confirmed the issue of not fitting but I think my housing is a bit wee too wide to fit in the spline. If so, I may end up opening the side of the housing to make it narrower, displace the cables to the side and close the opening. Tomorrow I will look into it and determine if I have the issue or not. Right now stuck at work so can't do much except write these postings and overthink stuff :) Chris Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=491399#491399 ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 03:49:19 PM PST US From: Kingsley Hurst Subject: Re: Europa-List: Re: throttle pivot sifffnut won't stay in place Chris You said ..... =9CI tried to find a width in the classic manual since t hey do tell you to make it but lo and behold no width!=9D The width of the throttle lever housing as per the Classic Manual is 40 mm ( 1.5=9D) I just checked my Manual and like you I couldn=99t find the width eith er. Knowing I had made mine from the manual instructions, I re-read them. T he figure is not dimensioned on the drawing but in bold printing across the f ace of the drawing it says ...... Foam Former Make 40mm (1.5=9D) Thick Hope this helps.
