Argh!!! You are 100% right Kingsley. Selective blindness, it was right there under
my nose and in bold and I missed it. Maybe I do need to slow down a little.

So I just went outside and checked the plug used to make mine (the previous kit
owner made a nice wooden plug) and it is 1.42" wide so if the classic one is
similar to the XS it is the same.

I did get under the plane yesterday and tried to fit the one I have. Initially
it didn't but after some sanding it does albeit very tight. So I am OK.

Thanks to all for the help and apologies for not reading a little more carefully.
Maybe I do need to do something else for a couple of weeks (play the guitar
or play chess?) and then come back to Europa building :)

Nah, ain't happening.
