Hi James, When you go through the calibration of the Dynon AoA probe you stall the plane in various configurations - no flaps, full flaps etc. The result is a very effective gauge. As I was replacing my existing non-AoA probe so I already had two tubes routed through the wing (static & dynamic pressure). I used those for dynamic pressure & AoA. I located a static pressure sensor to the fuselage instead. All the best. Carl Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=491995#491995

Waouh! Its a great job ! Ill try it. do you think there is no risk for the system to perfore the exhaust with the vibrations? Many thanks for share it. Olivier Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=491997#491997

Hi! All Be sure to embody a carbon monoxide alert any such system that hugs the exhaust system is likely to ingest a slow death as a passenger for you, but I guess you would die warm !!!!! I haven't applied for a mod yet. I wanted to get it working first, so I've ground run it and works very well. I might make another valve to let cold air into the system. My first attempt doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. Anyway, I'll put a mod request once it's all perfected. All the best. Hi Mallard, I fitted the Advanced Flight Systems AOA Sport, which uses the differential pressure between 2 pressure ports on the upper and lower wing surface as well as the pitot and static pressures. It can be separately calibrated for both flaps up and down. It is an adaption of a US Navy system. It works well although it has only 8 LED indicators (red, orange green) so the resolution is not very high. But it does indicate impending stall, even in a high g manoeuvre. The newer version of the aoa pro system apparently uses the Dynon aoa probe instead of the pressure ports, but I think the sport still uses the pressure ports. https://www.advancedflightsystems.com/advanced-aoa.php Regards, Keith. -----Original Message----- From: Mallard Sent: Saturday, October 26, 2019 10:30 AM Subject: Europa-List: AoA - Angle of Attack Indicator Has anyone ever fitted an AoA Indicator to their Europa?
