Subject: | Coming Soon - The List of Contributors - Please Make A Contribution |
Today!
Each year at the end of the List Fund Raiser, I post a message acknowledging everyone
that so generously made a Contribution to support the Lists. Its my way
of publicly thanking everyone that took a minute to show their appreciation
for the Lists.
Please take a moment and assure that your name is on that List of Contributors
(LOC)! As a number of members have pointed out over the years, the List seems
at least as valuable a building / entertainment tool as your typical magazine
subscription!
Assure that your name is on this year's LOC! Show others that you appreciate the
Lists. Making a Contribution to support the Lists is fast and easy using your
Credit card or Paypal on the Secure Web Site:

I would like to thank everyone that has so generously made a Contribution thus
far in this year's List Fund Raiser! Remember that its YOUR support that keeps
these Lists going and improving! Don't forget to include a little comment about
how the Lists have
helped you!
Best regards,

DONT SIZE YOUR CONTROL STICK UNTIL YOU HAVE VERIFIED IT CLEARS THE PANEL AND SWITCHES
IN FULL DIVE MODE, REMEMBERING CLEARANCE FOR YOUR KNUCKES AND SWITCHES.

Chris,
I have measured from floor to top of sticks on two aircraft for you . .
. . . . one is 19.7" and the other 20.9" so take your pick!
IMO, your 19" is plenty long enough.

Subject: | Container contingency |
As part of contingency preparation for a prospective trip I would like to check
the feasibility of fitting a Europa XS Mono in a 20 container. The 20 container
is attractive, in that the Europa would just fit in as a complete aircraft
with wings detached. Assume the availability of a fuselage cradle, strapping and
air bags to fill the remaining void.
Perhaps someone is currently using a 20 container as a hanger?
The key point appears to be the difference between length of the aircraft fuselage
and the available internal length of the container. The remainder is 50mm
not much margin for error! On paper it should work? But how does the prospective
solution look in the real world?
Diagram attached.
Regards
Bob
