Thanks for the info Jonathan. I contacted Andy Draper and he gave me the following names: "Europa (Swift) will do the conversion for you. I don't know the cost, though. Another place you could try is Targett Aviation (Toby Willcox) at Nympsfield airfield, or in the Midlands, there's EES (Richard Kilham)" I've emailed them all for quotes today and will await their responses. Regarding the Tri-Gear Conversion Kit, yes it's advertised on the Europa Site @ 5000. Hi Group I have a XS Mono with 914. 1) What is opinion about exhaust pipe angle? Straight down or angled back a little? If angled back by about how much? 2) What is opinion about exhaust pipe to cowl clearance? How much clearance? Make shape of opening a circle or other shape to allow easier on and off of lower cowl? Thx. Ron P Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=493507#493507

    Subject: Radiator Duct sealing
    From: "rparigoris" <rparigor@hotmail.com>
Hi Group I have a XS Mono with 914. I plan to drop oil radiator as much as I can. It seems you want the best seal you can get between coolant and oil radiator, radiators to duct, radiators to cowl and duct to cowl. Anyone have any pics to show details? Did you stop sealing duct to cowl aft of oil radiator? What sort of baffling material did you use? Europa supplied, 3/32" silicone or Teflon coated Silicone McFarlane? If McFarlane, did you do any sort of scoring? How did you seal forward portion of duct to cowl near intake? How did you figure out cut-line for baffling of radiator duct to cowl? Thx. Ron P.
