Pete, Do a search on Matronics Europa for "exhaust AND weld" or "exhaust AND alloy" and you'll get some ideas. Perhaps early Classic exhaust were mild steel. Later ones stainless. The alloy may be 309 and that is supposedly weldable with 308 rod. I suggest you contact CKT Engineering (they advertise in The Europa Flyer) and get their input. They have manufactured exhaust for Europa. Jim Butcher Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=495427#495427

Dear Jeroen. I have an original Europa Tri-Gear trailer. My hangar is on the airfield so I will not need it. The brakes are in bad condition but the rest is fine. You are welcome to buy it, if you are still interested. The trailer is parked on EKBR (Denmark) Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=495429#495429

Dear all. Will some of you be able to tell me the material specification of the skin of an Europa XS. A professional workshop will do the repair of the cracks of the skin, but before they go ahead they want to be sure what materials the skin is made of. >From Europa Aircraft I can't get any information. I did a repair a long time back. Apparently it=99s a pre preg materia l and I was fortunate enough to get a hold of some via Graham Singleton. If I recall correctly he did know the name of the sub contractor that made the XS wings. It=99s worth contacting Graham to see if he can help with connecting you up. Pete, I just worked on a Classic exhaust of one of the Earliest mono's with the classic exhaust. It is stainless. N96EG is now owned by Creighton Smith. We cut off the third leg and through a bit of trial and error replaced that with a 2 inch tube to clear the gear leg and still fit the trailer. Nice job. 507 type stainless. My welder had no problems tigging the new tube in. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=495432#495432

    From: "budyerly@msn.com" <budyerly@msn.com>
Well guys, Corvid 19 has slipped the Sun 'n Fun Fly in to May 5-10. On 17 April 2020 I expect a confirmation from Sun 'n Fun to formalize that. Due to the virus, I will have my Europa on display. The date slip has forced my Pipistrel Airmaster clients to cancel so I have another opportunity to show off my new-ish avionics and toys on N12AY. In Florida, we are staying home, "Social Distancing" with exceptions. My social butterfly wife can't seem to stay home. Cabin fever. I go to the shop and work on house projects. I figure I'm a dead man walking since I have allergies, lung damage, heart disease and constantly touch my face. So we have that going for us. Seriously, we are all fine here. Please heed the warnings of your health officials and stay safe. We'll kill this thing, and it looks like we have some drug combos that will relieve the symptoms without horrible side effects for those afflicted. Bud and Anita Yerly Custom Flight Creations, Inc.
