William,
I always used tri-flow for lubricating hinges and control cables with good results.
In many aircraft the recommendation is not to use lubricants except for silicone
based dry sprays to prevent accumulation of dirt (its an AD in the Mooneys)
but in fiorida you have to use something that protects metal so i found tri-flow
to be a good compromise.
