We average selling one Europa a month from the webpage. 22 in the last 22 months https://www.theeuropaclub.org/the-club/sales-and-spares-member-adverts Regards Bob Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=499474#499474 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:17:02 AM PST US From: Steve Ivell Subject: RE: Europa-List: Re: Available Europa As the Aircraft is "Nevilled" and Trigear with a VP prop I would say that it has to be worth in excess of 35k......but it depends what they are willing to pay. Bear in mind that a new kit from Europa is 36k with no FWF and not built!! Add 20k for an engine and prop and say another 4k for instruments (basic fit) and you are up to 60k.......and a whole lot of work!! I got it repaired and although this is reasonable the crack is still clearly visible and I would like to get rid of it altogether. I managed to purchase a couple of used XS doors which of course are tinted but I think looked a lot better. However my mono has had the cockpit width mod done and while fitting the new doors what I thought might be an easy fit has now turned into quite a difficult amount of work. I am thinking now that it might be easier just to replace the glass in the original door? So to the question, does anyone have just the original classic clear glass for the passenger side or can direct me to where I might get one? I am not averse to replacing both sides with XS tinted if clear glass is now unobtainable, but it would come down to cost. I have been told that they are only now made new in the States and that there is a massive lead time in obtaining them, is this true? I should say that although I have previously built an aircraft, I did not build my Europa. I went to LP Aero here in the US and they had them available. If I were you, I would want to contact them directly to make sure you having the cockpit width mod doesnt effect the glass you need. They are located in Pennsylvania, which is the Eastern time zone. Phone number 724 744-4448 or email info@lpaero.com. And you can look at their website at lpaero.com. Hope this helps. It's much less work than changing the glass and much cheaper. The width mod door inserts are less than =A3100....the g lass will be ridiculous!!
