Heavy port wing today; couldn't let go of the stick for any great length of time. There was a bead of ice the size of a small half pea at about 3/4 span and 50% chord, which had dripped down from the hangar ceiling and formed a sort of frozen small stalagmite. Didn't know the wing could be that sensitive. Something to check for next time on a freezing day. Duncan McF.
