Brian,
I have a stall warner with a light high up in front of the pilot plus a buzzer
in the headlining which is switched off. The light is useful for judging landings
as it gives a good visual warning of impending stall without alarming the
passenger.
No stall strips on my aircraft and she stalls cleaning but I am registered I. France.
It is old school nowadays but it works.
