Yet Another App From: "rampil" Greetings All, I tried to get this out for Sun and Fun, but the Apple review process slowed me down a bit. I did get a good chance to test the app there though as anyone who stopped by Bud's Airmaster booth probably saw. This new app is called "Plane Nosy" and its function is to scan a picture of an aircraft with its registration number showing (US N-numbers only at the moment, until I find a reliable public source for other countries civil aviation data!). The app uses machine vision AI to read the number in real-time, look it up, and display the public info such as Model, Owner, Engine, etc. Being at SnF allowed field testing against some pretty "interesting" paint schemes, but my algorithms worked extremely well. You can however edit the number, or type it in from scratch if you wish. Plane Nosy is available for iOS devices in the Apple App Store at: https://apps.apple.com/tt/app/plane-nosy/id1562366457?ign-mpt=uo%3D2 While you are at the App Store, search for "Aviametrix" to see the other aviation apps I've written. Sorry Android guys, the variety of hardware in the market does not generally include the uniform, custom neural network AI hardware built-in to the past five years of iPhones and iPads. -------- Ira N224XS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=501513#501513 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 12:15:00 PM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: Cruise speed data for Monowheel with 912ULS From: "Paul M 383" Duncan McFadyean wrote: > The SL (SL-912-016R1) doesn't say what is being reported in this thread. I don't normally post on forums but was just trying to help people with the correct info from rotax. R1 actually states that line you copied, and I posted, three times. cheers Peter Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=501516#501516 ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 02:58:25 PM PST US Subject: Europa-List: Re: Cruise speed data for Monowheel with 912ULS From: "Griffo" Soooo! After all that, the advice remains; For fixed pitch propellers (including ground adjust) - setting pitch to get a minimum 5200 rpm Static - will give you 5200 rpm on initiating take off (WOT) with the engine speed climbing as air speeds increases. Adjust climb angle to keep engine rpm below red line. Cruise Climb & Cruise should be at a minimum of 5200 rpm. I a nut shell - Rotax 91 engines thrive on /love rpm - you are not doing them any favours operating below the Rotax recommended engine speeds. -------- 46 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=501517#501517 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message europa-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Europa-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/europa-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/europa-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
