Thank you to everyone for the replies and help. Hopefully sometime this week the
wings will go on, ready for first flight and just wish to check that it all
works so that there might be a second flight.
The traveling repair kit needs to be put together as well so thank you for those
ideas.
cheers Peter

I jack my aircraft using an ATV jack that can be purchased at a reasonable price
with custom made jig that takes the weight of the aircraft on the LG01 frame.
A rubber strip ensures no damage is done to the paint.
I have since cut away the front side of the jig to allow room for the cowl flap
that I added and the lower cowling can be left in place during jacking. Best
to place trestles under the wing to avoid lateral tipping of the aircraft.
I found jacking the aircraft under the wings requires about 20kg to hold the tail
down and the underside of the wings are not reinforced like the walkways.
I should make a jig for use when traveling though!

I have had a quick look into this website, and it is registered by Godaddy.com
with a private registrant name under Domains by Proxy LLC, Tempe, Arizona, so
it was likely setup by an American Owner around 2004. It appears not to have been
updated in quite a while. The Domain Name expires in November of 2021, so
if the site is dormant, there is a chance the information and content from the
site will then be lost.
Before I pursue information from Godaddy, do any of our USA Europa Owners know
anything of the history of this site, and who set it up/owns it ?
I can be contacted through the Club website www.theeuropaclub.org

Domain Proxy is a privacy service that protects the owner information from
the public. I doubt GoDaddy will share that information.
europaowners.org has a wealth of information, but it could be organized
better.

If I recall correctly, I thought it was a european who first ran it, and
then it changed hands, but can't remember to whom.
Any other long-time-listers have a better memory than me?
cheers,

I am pretty sure it was Steve Dunsmuir (spelling?) who set it up.
As things grew, the content was moved to a server maintained and owned by Jo
s Oskhuizen. Jos, after his accident, lost interest in the Europa but was g
oing to leave it on his server.
