Final Update on what caused the fuel leak in my Mono XS!
Below is the report from the LAA Inspector Engineer:
Found the fuel hose issue today, see pictures attached. The issue was the rudder
cable sawing away at the hose, it all gets very congested in the tunnel between
the seats. Where the hose goes in and out of the seat pan, there can only
be a 6 mm gap between the hoses and the cables. This is where the cable has cut
into the hose as the hose goes into a tee for one leg to the engine (fuel bleed
off return) - one to the rear mounted drain and the third leg to the tank
outlet connection. It was the last one that had the hole.

one thing I dont regret was running my rudder cables within teflon tubing
