I second this - I followed the guide and it worked William Daniell LONGPORT +1 786 878 0246 On Sun, Aug 22, 2021 at 10:17 PM Richard Scanlan <aspenbuild@me.com> wrote: > Bud Yerly guide on the club website is a good guide to aileron setup > > Sent from my iPhone > > On 23 Aug 2021, at 02:04, Jeffrey Williams <jeffwill55@sbcglobal.net> > wrote: > > One of the last things I needed to do before my first flight was to make > sure the ailerons are properly adjusted. > > My biggest question concerns the neutral position of the bell crank at th e > wing root. > > When adjusting this, should I have the trailing edges of ailerons align > with the trailing edges of the wing tips, as the build manual suggests, o r > should they be aligned with the trailing edges of the flaps, which make u p > a huge portion of the wings=99 actual trailing edges? > > The trailing edge of the flaps - in the hard =9Cup=9D positio n - are slightly > lower than the trailing edge of the little wing tip. Subject: Tri gear firewall cooling optimisation
I'm building an XS Trigear, and am trying to work out the firewall install, Bud recommends the repositioning of the nose gear aft of the trigear trapeze, to provide 100 square inches of air exit area, which greatly helps with cooling. I am thinking of incorporating it in into the xs trigear cockpit module bulkhead. Not sure if I should use ACS firewall 2000 kit, or 0.4mm Stainless sheet or both. Does anyone have any shots of what they have done? I'm not really sure what to do here. Brian Phillips Downunder ||
