From: "MikeP" Having nearly been caught short recently, and not getting any younger. I am wondering if anyone has any simple/not so simple novel way to relieve ones-self in flight? regards Mike Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=503135#503135 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 02:14:38 AM PST US From: davidjoyce@doctors.org.uk Subject: Re: Europa-List: In-flight relief! A one litre bottle with a reasonably wide neck. Fits under thigh support. Probably need to undo your straps to ease forward to let bottle dangle down over edge of seat, unless you have an exceptionally long pitot tube. Having been brought up as a glider pilot with flights of 8 hrs or more, it has always been a routine aid. No need to suffer in silence! Many glider pilots had pee tubes - a funnel emptying into a tube which just voids overboard, but that tends to leave urea crystals on the fuselage aft of the outlet. From: "h&jeuropa" Mike, I use TravelJohn disposable urinal. They have a gel that absorbs the liquid so there is no mess. Their website suggests they are available in the UK. If you experienced a similar situation, how did you deal with it? I'd also be interested to hear from any 914 owners on the forum who have had the above 'Carb Balancing' problems & what was done to keep the Carbs Balanced? Thanks for any contributions.
