Please see our alternate to the trigear, the Acroflight taildragger modification.
We have one fully approved in the UK, G-MLXP, some more just starting their conversion/build
and one 8n the USA. So far we have had 50 enquiries.
We make our own legs, these are similar to the trigear with some subtle improvements,
Beringer are making a brake kit, available through us or direct (same price
but we support the build), also finger brakes, flap actuators, etc.
We believe the TD Mod will pay for itself as Mono prices are lower than Trigear.
We believe the TD will prove to be the most popular version of the Europa,
it combines the best aesthetics with good ground handling and hold the middle
ground in terms of speed (Mono, TD, Trigear).

Really? Well faired fixed gear is usually speed-competitive with well-sealed retractable,
at least up to 150knts. So the TD should occupy the higher ground.
Happy to share TD speed measurements, should you wish.

Hi! Mike /all.
The solution to male urine relief can be found at www.bullens.com (Bullen International Ltd. 85-87 Kempson Street Liverpool L38HE. Free phone 0800269327.)
They supply underpants with a system called uri-drain system . Underpants are
fitted with a plastic attachment to which you fit a bag in to which you insert
your penis . The kit also provides a measuring facility to measure diameters
for ordering.( that is diameter NOT length !) .
The bag has a rubber stopper and for in flight use this can be engineered to fit
directly to a pipe passing along the tunnel to exit in a air pressure negative
area .
G-PTAG had a 9 gallon long range tank plumbed in to the fuel system and I could
do a 5-6 hour flight without a break ! but beware of cramp ! Especially if your
knee is subjected to cold draft from the nearby Naca Duct ventilator.
There is also a new bottle coming on the market which is actually a convoluted
construction which folds down to a very compact shape .
Regards
Bob Harrison .

Subject: | Monowheel Inner Tube |
At our first fuel stop on a long cross country last week, the tire on our mono
went flat during the roll out after landing on a paved runway. We always carry
a new tube with us, but our spare was defective. We use a 7.00-6 6 ply tire on
our mono. We tried to use the tire size to find a new tube but couldnt find
one. We patched the old tube and returned home. It may help others to know, the
correct tube is an AeroClassic Leakguard, part number GL-70877B and it is in
stock at Desser Tire.
