Hi! Brian ,
If Mod 53 was my long range tank mod. The issue that was originally
thrown up was the exit pipe should have a finger filter fitted.

For UK owners, I am not sure the LAA ever approved the use of the Mod 53
Long Range Tank Mod. Francis had some issue with it that I have
forgotten. It is not listed as an approved manufacturer mod in the
current TADS. I still have a brand new/unused tank - open to offers!

Hi! William,
My Suggestion on these issues is to fix an electric transfer pump . How sick would
you be ( or deadly unpleased !) to run out of fuel and still have a supply
in the blessed Long Range Tank ? ( except you can't hear it so dont forget
to switch it off when empty !)

Thx for the replies. The question I have is that a significant tank level differential
needs to be present to syphon. It would seem that one would not be able
to get all the fuel out of the Long Range tank as the fuel level become nearly
the same. Also the fuel flow would be very slow as the levels get closer
to the same. Does this prove to be the case?
