Oshkosh Week. Post what you see and do.
As I write this, Flightawware shows that Erich and Fred (N28ET) are about to land.
We are planning to arrive Sunday, weather permitting.
Forecast is for heavy rain at Oshkosh Saturday night, perhaps 1 inch!
We're looking forward to seeing many of you at the forum Tuesday morning.

Btw, my europa cooler is back in its regular spot by the tower gate. Grab a c
ool refreshment, some shade, and sign the board if you need a respite from t
his stinker of a hot week!

Unfortunately I am doing nothing with my Europa this week. Instead, I am stranded
in Rockhampton Queensland with a caravan and broken down vehicle.
Whilst I wait only 12 days for a part to come from Melbourne Victoria, (12 days
is not a typo) I followed Erich and Fred in N28ET from Las Vegas until they shut
down in Oshkosh. If you have never seen somebody green with envy then you
havent seen me.
Jim and others flying Europas to Oshkosh, could you kindly let me know your Regos,
place and ETD (pref in UTC) in order that I can track you too. Hopefully this
will help me remain sane between now and Tuesday when the part is due to arrive.
Id love to be with you all at Oshkosh but unfortunately, it can only be there in
spirit this year.

We are N241BW, departing K2C5 hopefully 24 July around 1500Z - 2000Z.
John Wigney is enroute. He appears to be in Peoria, IL tonight. He is N262WF.
Looks like he has had a tough day with the storms.
Sorry you are stranded but at least your weather looks OK.
