dmac7 - thanks for your kind words about the TP5/TP6 mod promoted through the Europa
Club. The late Nigel Graham wrote the original description and when I embodied
it in my own build I did some minor editing and added photos to turn it
into a document acceptable to LAA Engineering. Im pleased to know that it is
still of use.
I was in correspondence with LAA Engineering earlier this year after noticing some
out-of-date stuff on the original document. My suggestion to amend it and
submit a new version was accepted, but so far the new PDF I sent in has not made
its way to the LAA website. I am happy to send the April 2022 Issue 2 PDF to
anyone who would like to have it. I suppose it could go up on the Club website
too . . . .

A little late on the report but last weekend I flew south to Vero Beach with friends
for breakfast and flew by the Kennedy Space Center (pictures attached).
Nice flight.
This week I modified my tank vent to allow more air to get it. It's always been
problematic to get fuel in from 13 gallons to full. Will test tomorrow when I
fill my tank for the Saturday morning breakfast run.
Also installed quick connect fittings for the extended range tank in preparation
for the Triple Tree fly-in at the end of September. Not sure I really need it
since I prefer to have the luggage space but at least I will have it ready.

Just confirm it is not leaking from the fuel vent outlet and fuel intake to t
he tank? Then dripping down to the floor on the starboard side. Have had a b
uilder here who didn=99t allow enough room for the intake boss to move
and cracked the intake boss.
Cheers, Tim

Hello Roland, I will say work is one thing brilliant ideas an other, combined they
are awesome!
The Europa community is really special, the quality of people involved in the Europa
is second to none, we have had A12/SR71 pilots having chose it and others
of very high caliber, the ideas coming from these builders and engineer's benefit's
the group greatly, Nigel was one of that special breed.
I have been blessed to have had contact such people, they make you better.
I have a nice letter from Nigel written on a boxing day 2016 about how he would
retrofit his mod to a already built aircraft. I could feel his love of the Europa
in every word he typed.
Bud, Nev and Andy, Ivan, Graham, and many others who contributed ideas and aid
have been a inspiration keeping me going. Many thanks to them all I read their
words often.

Hi Fred,
You caught me! It was early in the morning, eyes hardly open and I mistakenly
thought you were looking for a wheel bearing. I deleted post when I saw my mistake.
My old bearings are for anyone who wants em! My bad
