Yes, l had some correspondence with them. Their design predates the Elite. Their
CEO explained the design philosophy, prototyping challenges and how far they
have progressed towards National type approval. Seem like nice people, with
in depth knowledge and experience.
He was rather flattered when l pointed out the similarities. There are significant
differences though. Moving the tailplane into the wing downwash zone at
AoA corresponding to stall is odd.
Fin area, area ruled profile and control surface detail.

Thanks; that's great. The CZ Republic seem to be really ahead of the curve.
A type approval test pilot also pointed out the stall recovery disadvantages of
a raised H stab being less/non useful with use of engine thrust in flat spin
recovery scenario.
It was great to see the use of wing slots on the elliptical wing of the Ellipse;
something I have arrived at in my own studies some 12 months ago and will be
discussing further in the near future.
