Subject: | Rotax 912ULS oil consumption answer? |
https://www.rotax-owner.com/en/912-914-technical-questions/8333-oil-tank-breather
I'm going to investigate the overflow/breather pipe for the oil tank and see whether
it has somehow become partly obstructed by "gunge" deposits or something
else. I'll also enlarge the hole drilled into its side near the end, using a
blade to cut a slot.
For more than 100 flying hours, virtually no oil has dripped into the little catch
pot, into which the breather pipe hangs.
Fingers crossed!

Hi Group
Would appreciate if you could share a pic or 2 where might be an appropriate location
for an I-Pad Mini in an XS Mono and what sort of holder and mount may be
appropriate. Just sitting in bird tonight seems like an 18" Gooseneck if attached
to the front of Instrument Module tray all the way on the inboard side where
the Instrument Module begins to go vertical? Thinking this may be an appropriate
mount?: https://tinyurl.com/mry8rr6t Thx. Ron P.

Hello Ron,
I mounted my I pad using a slightly more expensive but excellent mount that airline
pilots use in big jets.
The connection to the Europa is on the edge of the tray, bolted on, with support
behind to make sure it stays solid.
Whilst I have not flow the Europa as yet, it is very secure and allows almost any
orientation both for pilot and passenger, if they want to watch an in flight
movie.
This is the company for the Ipad case https://pivotcase.com/
This allows the ipad to be slipped on and off easily.
The actual mounting arm is generic
Regards
Trevor
WARNING - do NOT buy a cheap USB power outlet for the aircraft - I had MAJOR issues
until I tracked this down.. I purchased an aviation standard one that does
not make a row on the Trig radio ...
