      I have recently received my EchoALT and got to work to determine what information
      it was passing to the EchoUAT over RS232.  The format is NMEA and uses the
      message $PUAVALT with Pressure (mbar), Temp C, Pressure Alt (meters) in the data
      followed by a checksum (*#).
      
      $PUAVALT,902.486267,34.292629,965.346741*41
      
      High level, I use a python program to convert the pressure ALT to feet to send
      to the GTX327 in Icarus format over serial.
