      I just reread your post and understand your solution.  So now you can use your
      GTX327 since echoUAT will supply pressure altitude in feet to it.  
      
      What are you using for a certified GPS source?

      Jim,
      
      My GPS source is the iLevil AP with the upgraded GPS.  The iLevil sends the signal
      to the EchoALT via a serial out. The EchoALT adds its NMEA message with the
      GPS messages and sends that to the EchoUAT.  I spliced the RS232 out and that
      goes to a device that translates the NMEA code to Icarus and then to the GTX327.
       
      
      You could use the same EchoALT signal as source for temperature, but not sure if
      that is temperature of the device or temperature of the static line.
